Periodically, the Milwaukee Adventure Club hosts events that do not require membership to be able to attend. These events, called Open Events, are designed to let a guest check out the club and its activities, while she is still making up her mind to join or not.

That said, the Club hosts many other diverse events every week, to participate in which you need to be a registered member. Membership is free, and if you feel you're ready to enjoy all the benefits of a full membership, please click here to register. Or if you're already a member, please click here to login.

Event Name: Bookclub and Breakfast
Group Leader: Peggy Schneider
Description: This book discussion will be ““The Given Day” by Dennis Lehane. This novel tells the story of two families – one black, one white – swept up in a maelstrom of revolutionaries and anarchist, immigrants and ward bosses, Brahmins and ordinary citizens, all engaged in a battle for survival and power. Coursing through the pivotal events right after the end of WWI, it explores the crippling violence and irresponsible exuberance of a country at war with, and in the thrall of, itself.

We are meeting at 9:00 am at Johnny V's on 84th south of Greenfield. The food, service, company, and discussion is great.
