Periodically, the Milwaukee Adventure Club hosts events that do not require membership to be able to attend. Description:
This book discussion will be "Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet" by Jamie Ford. In 1986 a new owner of a hotel in Seattle's Japantown finds belongings of Japanese sent to internment camps in WWII. Henry, a Chinese American remembers his Japanese childhood friend. He looks for her family's things and finds himself on a journey to revisit the sacrifices he has made for family, for love, for country.
We are meeting at 9:00 am at Johnny V's on 84th south of Greenfield. The food, service, company, and discussion is great.
